Make a PNG, JPEG or WebP smaller at the same dimensions.

We process your file on our server, then delete it after 6 hours

You get a smaller image at the same dimensions, with both sizes shown before you download. Switching to WebP usually gives the biggest drop.

How to use it

  1. 1Upload the filePick the file you want to make smaller from your device, or drag it into the box.
  2. 2We shrink itWe process it and show the size before and after, so you see what you saved before downloading.
  3. 3Download the smaller copyThe same content at a lower size, ready to email or to upload where large files are refused.

When it helps

Large images slow down sites and messages and eat storage. Compressing cuts the size while keeping the image usable.

Common questions

Why did my PNG barely get smaller?

Because PNG is a lossless format, so it cannot be squeezed much without changing format. Pick WebP under output format and you will see a real difference, with transparency preserved.

Does this change the image dimensions?

No. Compressing only reduces the file size. To change the width and height, use the resize tool.

What happens to data like where the photo was taken?

It is removed when the file is saved. The result carries no EXIF data and no GPS coordinates, which is useful before publishing any photo.
