Summarize a document

A thirty-page report you need the gist of before the meeting. Upload it and read what matters.

We process your file on our server, then delete it after 6 hours

You get the main points of the document in a few paragraphs, ready to copy. Up to 300 pages per file, and the credit cost appears before the run and is charged only if it succeeds.

How to use it

  1. 1Upload your documentUpload a PDF or a Word file and we read it to find out how long it is.
  2. 2Check the costWe show the number of credits before the run, and nothing is charged unless it succeeds.
  3. 3Run it and copy the resultPress “Run and use these credits” and the result comes back as text, ready to copy into your document.

When it helps

A long report or study tells you nothing until you have read it. A summary gives you what the file actually covers in a minute, so you can decide whether it is worth the full read or which part to jump to.

Common questions

Which files can I upload?

PDF and Word (.docx), up to 300 pages per file. Other formats aren’t supported yet.

Does it read the whole file or only the first pages?

The whole file, up to the 300-page limit. It works from the text in the document, so anything that exists only inside an image or a chart is left out.

What about a scanned document?

A scan is a picture of a page with no text inside it, so there is nothing to summarize. The tool tells you and points you to the Arabic OCR tool, which turns the scan into text first. Nothing is charged.

How many credits does it use?

It depends on the length of the document. You see the exact number after the tool reads your file and before you confirm, and the credits come off only when the run succeeds.
