ZATCA QR decoder
Read the seller and VAT details from an invoice QR code.
We process what you enter on our server, then delete it after 6 hours
You see the five fields exactly as they were encoded on the invoice: seller name, VAT number, timestamp, total, and VAT amount.
How to use it
- 1Enter your detailsType the values into the fields; we ask for nothing else about you and keep nothing.
- 2Check what you enteredThe result changes with every edit, so confirm the values before you read it.
- 3Read the resultIt appears directly under the fields, ready to copy.
When it helps
The QR on a simplified invoice carries its details in compressed form. The decoder shows them in readable form so you can match them against your records.
Common questions
Does a successful read mean the invoice is valid?
No. It means only that the code content is written in the expected format. We do not check the signature, do not confirm the seller is registered, and do not contact ZATCA systems.
Where do I get the text from?
Scan the QR with any reader app on your phone. It will give you a long string of letters and numbers. Paste that in as it is.
Do Arabic names display correctly?
Yes. The name is stored inside the code as UTF-8 and we read it the same way, so it appears exactly as the seller wrote it.
