Net salary calculator

Calculate your net monthly salary after GOSI deductions.

Runs on your device. What you enter is never sent to us

You see your net pay with each deduction on its own line: the pension share, which follows the date you were first registered with GOSI, and 0.75% for SANED. Non-Saudi employees have no deduction.

How to use it

  1. 1Enter your detailsType the values into the fields; we ask for nothing else about you and keep nothing.
  2. 2Check what you enteredThe result changes with every edit, so confirm the values before you read it.
  3. 3Read the resultIt appears directly under the fields, ready to copy.

When it helps

Offers and payslips quote the gross, but the bank receives the net after the GOSI deduction. Knowing the deduction in advance makes negotiation and budgeting straightforward, and the Saudi employee rate depends on your first registration date, which is easy to miss.

Common questions

What is deducted from a Saudi employee salary?

Two GOSI contributions from the contribution-subject wage (basic wage plus housing allowance, capped at SAR 45,000 a month): the pension share and 0.75% for unemployment insurance (SANED). The pension share depends on your first registration date: 9%, so 9.75% in total, if you registered before 3 July 2024; for later registrations the total starts at 9.75% and rises 0.5% each July, up to 11.75%.

Why is there no deduction for non-Saudi employees?

The only GOSI branch that covers non-Saudi workers is occupational hazards at 2%, and the employer pays it in full. Nothing is deducted from the worker salary, so the net equals the gross.

Which salary figure should I enter?

Your monthly basic wage plus your housing allowance, which is what GOSI counts as the contribution-subject wage. The tool caps that figure at SAR 45,000 a month before applying the rates.
