When it helps

A loan quote usually states the monthly payment but not how much of it is interest, or what the loan costs in total over its life. The schedule shows both, month by month, and the tool handles the zero-rate case that breaks simpler calculators.

Common questions

What happens at a 0% rate?

The standard payment formula divides by the rate, so a separate path handles zero: the payment is the amount divided by the number of months. Any rounding difference lands in the last payment.

Why does the last payment sometimes differ?

Every payment rounds to the nearest halala, and the final month settles whatever remains, so the balance ends at exactly zero instead of a few halalas short or over.

Can I type Arabic digits?

Yes. The boxes accept Western digits 0-9, Arabic-Indic digits ‎٠‎-‎٩‎, the Arabic decimal separator, and thousands separators.

Does this recommend a loan product?

No. The tool only does the arithmetic on the figures you enter. It does not compare products or advise on any financing structure.
