Check an ID or Iqama number without it leaving your device.
Runs on your device. What you enter is never sent to us
You see whether the shape is sound, whether it is a National ID or an Iqama, and which rule failed. The check is arithmetic on the number itself; nothing is looked up.

When it helps
A single mistyped digit is hard to catch by eye, and forms usually reject a number without saying why. The tenth digit of a Saudi ID or Iqama number is a check digit that exists to catch exactly that kind of mistake, and this tool tells you which rule the number breaks before you submit it.
Common questions
Does a well-formed result mean the number is real?
No. The tool checks structure only: ten digits, a 1 or 2 at the start, and a consistent check digit. It cannot tell whether the number was ever issued or who holds it, and a well-formed number may belong to no one.
Is my number uploaded or checked against any government system?
No. The check is a few arithmetic steps that run in your browser. Nothing is sent or stored, and no government service is contacted.
What does the first digit mean?
A leading 1 marks a Saudi National ID issued to a citizen, and a leading 2 marks an Iqama, the residency number issued to a resident. No other starting digit is valid.
Why does a number I am sure of fail the check?
The check digit exists to catch typing mistakes, and a single wrong digit is usually the cause. Compare what you typed against the document digit by digit; the tool accepts Western and Arabic-Indic digits, with or without spaces and hyphens.
