When it helps

A contract, a report or a form turns up in a language you don’t read well. Pasting it into a translation box page by page takes an evening. Uploading the whole file takes one step, and Arabic works in both directions.

Common questions

Which files can I upload?

PDF and Word (.docx), up to 200 pages per file. Other formats aren’t supported yet.

What happens with a scanned document?

If the pages are images with no text inside them, there is nothing to translate. The tool sees that while it reads the file, tells you, and sends you to the Arabic OCR tool to pull the text out first. Nothing is charged.

How many credits does it use?

It depends on how long the document is. The tool reads your file first and shows you the exact number before you confirm, and the credits come off only when the run succeeds.

Do I get a translated PDF back?

No. You get the translated text. The original layout, tables and styling are not carried over.
