When it helps
Recipes, shipping weights, screen sizes, land areas, and speed limits use different units in different places. Converting on the spot removes the guesswork, and your numbers never leave your device.
Common questions
Are my numbers uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or shared.
Which units are supported?
Seven categories: length, mass, temperature, area, volume, speed, and digital storage, covering the units everyday work actually needs, from millimeters to miles and from bits to petabytes.
Can I type Arabic digits?
Yes. Digits ٠-٩ and the Arabic decimal separator are recognized and converted before the calculation, so you can type the number the way you write it.
How precise is the result?
Results keep twelve significant digits, which removes the noise from binary calculation without hiding real precision. Storage units are the binary ones (1 KiB is 1024 bytes) because that is what a file dialog on your computer is showing you when it says KB. A drive manufacturer means 1000 by the same letters, which is why a 1 TB disk shows up as about 931 GiB.
